(A) The application for new service shall contain a description of the premises to be served. The Public Works Director or his or her representative shall have the option of making an inspection of electric wiring of the premises before electrical energy is supplied to determine the adequacy and condition of the wiring.
(B) By inspecting a premises and approving it for electric service, the city takes no responsibility in guaranteeing the safety or adequacy of the wiring.
