§ 30-2-2 DUTIES OF CHIEF OF POLICE.
   The Chief of Police shall keep records and make reports concerning the activities of the Police Department as may be required. The Chief of Police shall be responsible for the performance of the Police Department and all of the police officers. All persons who are members of the Police Department shall serve subject to the orders of the Chief of Police.
