The Illinois Vehicle Code, ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 12 et seq., entitled “Equipment of Vehicles”, as passed, approved, and amended by the Illinois General Assembly, is hereby adopted by the city, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the city.
