§ 24-1-1 ILLINOIS VEHICLE CODE; DEFINITIONS ADOPTED. 
   The Illinois Vehicle Code, ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 1-100 et seq., entitled “Title and Definitions”, as passed, approved and amended by the Illinois General Assembly is hereby adopted by the city, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the city.
