(A) All immobilized manufactured homes and manufactured homes 50 to 70 feet in length and 12 to 14 feet in width shall have five pairs of frame ties and three over-the-top ties. They shall be inspected by the Zoning Officer or his designated representative.
(B) Tie-down components used, including anchor systems, must be able to withstand at least 4,800 pounds without failure. The holding power of ground anchors can be determined by conducting pull-out tests or by consulting with your anchor dealer. He should be able to provide you with data on anchor-holding power for various kinds of soil.
