§ 1-2-98 ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEYS.
   The Mayor may appoint, with the advice and consent of the City Council, attorney(s) as Assistant Attorneys, for the purpose of assisting the City Attorney with respect to his or her duties and responsibilities as City Attorney. When such an Assistant City Attorney performs such duties and responsibilities, he or she shall possess the status, power and authority of the City Attorney, and shall be entitled to the same immunities and privileges of the City Attorney. Assistant City Attorneys shall be subject to the supervision and direction of the City Attorney.
