(A) The regular stated meetings of the City Council shall be held in the City Hall building on the first and third Monday in each month at 7:30 p.m. When said meeting date falls upon Christmas Eve or a legal holiday as hereinafter defined, or the observance of said legal holiday, the meeting shall be held on the next secular day at the same hour. Adjourned meetings may be held at such times as may be determined by the Council. Public notice of regular meetings shall be given in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, ILCS Ch. 5, Act 120, §§ 1 through 6.
(B) For purposes of this section, the term
LEGAL HOLIDAY shall be those holidays set forth in ILCS Ch. 205, Act 630, § 17(a), with the exception of Casimir Pulaski's Birthday, Abraham Lincoln's Birthday, and Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday.
