§ 1-2-1 CITY COUNCIL.
   The City Council shall consist of the Mayor and eight Aldermen. There shall be two Aldermen from each of four wards, and their term of office shall be for four years, and until their successors are elected and have qualified. One Alderman from each ward shall be elected every two years.
