§ 99.15 PROJECTING STAGING.
   (A)   Any person desiring to erect a staging on a building adjoining a street line where the staging shall project over the street or walk, shall, before undertaking the work, apply to the Superintendent of Streets for a permit, the fee for which shall be as set forth in the schedule of fees, charges, penalties and rewards attached to the annual budget of the city, pursuant to § 41.11 of this code.

   (B)   Upon obtaining the permit, and before commencing the work, the person shall, at his own expense, provide and furnish to the city a policy of liability insurance, which shall be approved by the Corporation Counsel and which shall be issued by an insurance company authorized to do business in the state, the policy to provide coverage of not less than $15,000 for personal injuries and not less than $5,000 for property damage and to be in full force and effect at all times during the erection, existence or demolition of the staging.
