1.01.010: ADOPTION:

Pursuant to the provisions of chapter 11, section 672.1 of the Oklahoma Statutes, there is adopted the "Warr Acres municipal code," as published by Book Publishing Company, Seattle, Washington, consisting of 19 titles, as adopted by the city of Warr Acres, Oklahoma. (Ord. 454 §1, 1977)

1.01.020: TITLE; CITATION; REFERENCE:

This code shall be known as the WARR ACRES MUNICIPAL CODE 1977 in any prosecution for the violation of any provision thereof or in any proceeding at law or equity. It shall be sufficient to designate any ordinance adding to, amending, correcting or repealing all or any part or portion thereof as an addition to, amendment to, correction or repeal of the "Warr Acres municipal code 1977". Further reference may be had to the titles, chapters, sections and subsections of the "Warr Acres municipal code 1977", and such references shall apply to that numbered title, chapter, section or subsection as it appears in the code. 1.01.030: CODIFICATION AUTHORITY:

This code consists of all the regulatory and penal ordinances and certain of the administrative ordinances of the city codified pursuant to the provisions of chapter 11, section 672.1 of the Oklahoma Statutes. (Ord. 454 §3, 1977)

1.01.040: ORDINANCES PASSED PRIOR TO ADOPTION OF THE CODE:

The last ordinance included in this code was ordinance 444, passed July 6, 1976. The following ordinances, passed subsequent to ordinance 444, but prior to adoption of this code, are adopted and made a part of this code: ordinance 445, passed September 7, 1976; ordinance 446, passed September 7, 1976; ordinance 447, passed November 2, 1976; ordinance 448, passed November 6, 1976; ordinance 449, passed January 4, 1977; ordinance 450, passed January 4, 1977; ordinance 451, passed January 4, 1977; ordinance 452, passed April 5, 1977; ordinance 453, passed April 5, 1977. 1.01.050: REFERENCE APPLIES TO ALL AMENDMENTS:

Whenever a reference is made to this code as the "Warr Acres municipal code 1977" or to any portion thereof, to any ordinance of the city, reference shall apply to all amendments, corrections and additions heretofore, now or hereafter made. (Ord. 454 §5, 1977)

1.01.060: TITLE, CHAPTER AND SECTION HEADINGS:

Title, chapter and section headings contained in this code shall not be deemed to govern, limit, modify or in any manner affect the scope, meaning or intent of the provisions of any title, chapter or section of this code. (Ord. 454 §6, 1977)

1.01.070: CHARTER OF THE CITY INCLUDED:

The charter of the city is included in the code book for convenience. (Ord. 454 §7, 1977)
