(A) For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
PREMISES. The property or parking area immediately surrounding the building where the fire lane is located. It shall be the joint and several duties of the owner and manager of the premises to maintain the fire lane markings and to keep the lanes free of obstruction.
(B) No person may mark, post, or otherwise identify a nonfire lane private vehicular passageway:
(1) As a fire lane; or
(2) In such a manner as tends to create confusion as to whether the passageway is a fire lane.
