6-10-3: AUTHORITY TO IMPOUND:
The chief of police, or any other member of his department designated by him is hereby authorized to remove or have removed any vehicle left at any place within the city which reasonably appears to be in violation of this chapter, lost, stolen or unclaimed. Such vehicles shall be impounded by the chief of police or any member of his department. (1986 Code § 20-136; amd. 2005 Code)
