It is unlawful for any person to call the number 911 for the purpose of making a false alarm or complaint or reporting false information which could result in the dispatch of emergency services from any public agency provider. Any person violating the provisions of this section, upon conviction, shall be guilty of an offense punishable as provided in section 1-9-13 of this code. (Ord. 3051, 12-3-1996; amd. 2005 Code)
