There is hereby created the Police Department of the city. The Police Department shall consist of the Chief of Police and the other police officers and employees as the City Council may from time to time deem necessary to implement the provisions of this chapter, Chapter 38, and §§ 92.35, 94.01 through 94.03, 96.20, 111.33 through 111.35, 131.02 through 131.04, 131.07, 132.01 through 132.07, 132.20, 132.21, 132.24, 132.25, and 132.35 through 132.37.
