§ 34.072 MEETINGS.
   The members of the Department shall hold meetings as necessary.

§ 34.073 RECORDS.
   The Chief shall keep, or cause to be kept a record of all meetings of the Department, and the attendance of the members, a record of all fires, and reports shall be available for city inspection.

§ 34.074 REPORTS.
   The Fire Chief shall make a complete annual report to the City Council. This report shall include any requests for new equipment which will improve the effectiveness of the Department.

§ 34.075 INSPECTIONS.
   The Chief is empowered to inspect or he or she may request the State Fire Marshal to inspect any and all public buildings and premises at any reasonable time for the purpose of inspecting the premises for dangerous fire hazards which may threaten life or property. Any dangerous condition shall be ordered abated by the Fire Chief and/or State Fire Marshal.

§ 34.076 ASSISTANT CHIEFS.
   All Fire Department Assistant Chiefs and officers shall serve a probationary period of one year.

§ 34.077 DRILLS.
   The Fire Chief shall conduct fire drills as needed.

§ 34.078 DUTIES.
   It shall be the function and duty of the Fire Department and every member thereof to extinguish accidental or destructive fires, to prevent the occurrence or spread of such fires.

§ 34.079 OBEDIENCE TO ORDERS.
   Any firefighter in attendance at a fire who shall neglect or refuse to obey the orders of the officer in command at such fire, shall, upon conviction, be reprimanded and disciplined by the Department.

§ 34.080 SUPERVISION.
   The Chief or ranking available officer shall have control of the Fire Department and all fire apparatus belonging to the city. Whenever any fire apparatus belonging to the city needs repairing, the Chief or ranking available officer shall cause the same to be done without delay.
