The amendments submitted to and approved by a majority of those electors of the City voting at the November 7, 2000, general election shall take effect January 1, 2001. Provisions of Sections 9.02 and 9.03 of the Charter of the City of Urbana, Ohio, shall apply to matters of transition brought about by approved amendments to this Charter. The powers conferred and the duties imposed upon the Design Review Board and the Board of Nuisance Appeals under the ordinances and resolutions of the City at the time this amendment takes effect shall continue until amended or repealed by Council.
