917.05 ALTERING NUMBERS.

No person shall take down, alter or deface any number assigned and put up as provided in Sections 917.01 to 917.05 or retain an improper number or substitute any number on their building, house, place of business or place of residence other than the number assigned pursuant to Sections 917.01 to 917.05. (1984 Code Sec. 91.75)
