11-5A-1: PURPOSE:
Agricultural land-use activities are closely associated with the Three Forks community. Much of the land surrounding the existing City limits and within the City's jurisdictional boundary is used for agricultural purposes. This designation reflects this important activity. The purpose being to encourage continued agricultural use of the land and discourage random subdivision and development activity far from community support facilities (i.e., sewer and water). 11-5A-2: PERMITTED USES:

Accessory uses which are customarily and necessarily related to and included with an agricultural pursuit.
Cultivation of ground, including the preparation of soil, planting or seeding and raising and harvesting of crops.
Home occupations.
Raising, feeding and managing of livestock, poultry and other animals (excluding confined feedlots and poultry yards).
Sale, on the premises, of products produced thereon.
Single-family dwelling(s) associated with an agricultural pursuit, provided minimum lot area and width as herein set forth is adhered to.
Wildlife areas and game refuges owned by governmental agencies; accessory buildings associated with said uses. (Ord. 203, 12-9-1983)
