Any persons, associations or corporations violating any of the provisions or failing to comply therewith shall severally, for each and every such violation or noncompliance be subject to penalty as provided in Section 1-4-1 of this Code. The imposition of one penalty or fine for any violation of this Chapter shall not excuse the violation nor permit it to continue; and all such persons so involved, shall be required to correct or remedy such violation or defects within a reasonable time; and, when not otherwise specified, such a time shall not exceed ten (10) days, and each ten (10) days of noncompliance shall constitute a separate offense and as such shall be punishable as above provided.
