The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this section, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
FIREWORKS: | The meaning stated in 6-2-3. |
PARK: | A park, playground, recreation facility, pond areas, or any other area in the city, developed or undeveloped, owned or used by the city, and devoted to active or passive recreation. |
PUBLIC ASSEMBLY: | Any meeting, march, demonstration, picket line, race/marathon, rally, or gathering of more than 75 persons for a common purpose as a result of prior planning that affects or may reasonably be expected to affect the normal flow or regulation of pedestrian or vehicular traffic within a park or recreational facility, or occupies any park or recreational facility in a place open to the general public. |
RECREATIONAL FACILITY: | A building, structure, place or other location within a park or under the management of the city. |
USER GROUP: | Any group or organization that is given use of a park for an extended period of time through a park reservation.(Ord. 382-2018, 9-11-2018; amd. Ord. 382-2018, 8-28-2018) |
