OTHER CODES ADOPTED
(A) There is hereby adopted for and by the city a standard code known as the International Amusement Device Code, 2021 edition, with appendices and amendments thereto, passed and recommended by the International Code Council, Inc., which code is published in book form and which is referred to, incorporated in this section and made a part of this section for all purposes. A copy of such code is filed of record in the office of the City Secretary. Adoption of subsequent amendments, supplement or new edition(s) is automatic upon publication by the International Code Council, Inc.
(B) In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the amusement device code and the provisions of this code of ordinances, state law or city ordinances, rules or regulations, the provisions of this code of ordinances, state law or city ordinances, rules or regulations shall prevail and be controlling.

Adoption of subsequent amendments, supplement or new edition(s) is automatic upon publication by the International Code Council, Inc.

(B) Amendments to International Property Maintenance Code. The Code adopted by this section is amended as set out in this section: Section 111, Means of Appeal, is amended to read as follows:
111.2 Membership of Board. The board of appeals shall be the city’s Board of Adjustment as established and adopted by the Code of Ordinances of the city.

(A) There is hereby adopted for and by the city a standard code known as the International Energy Conservation Code, 2021 edition, with appendices and amendments thereto, passed and recommended by the International Code Council, Inc., which code is published in book form and which is referred to, incorporated in this section and made a part of this section for all purposes. A copy of such code is filed of record in the office of the City Secretary. Adoption of subsequent amendments, supplement or new edition(s) is automatic upon publication by the International Code Council, Inc.
(B) The Building Official shall adopt procedures for the administration and enforcement of this Code.

(A) Manufacturing or processing plants; exemption from permit requirement. No building or other permit as provided for by the codes described in or adopted by this Code shall be required for work to be performed upon the property of a manufacturing or processing plant or industry, under the following conditions:
(1) The location of the work is on property of the plant or industry, which property shall comprise the equivalent of one city block or more and be bounded on all sides by city streets; provided, if one or more sides of the property are bounded by another plant or industry, water, railroad rights-of-way or other artificial objects making a street location impossible or impractical, this requirement shall be met by streets bounding all other areas;
(2) The plant or industry retains a registered professional engineer or architect on a permanent basis who shall be responsible for the design and who shall oversee the construction of structures within the plant property; and
(3) The work shall meet the requirements of the codes described in or adopted by this Code.

(A) The International Residential Code, as existed on 5-1-2001, is the municipal residential building code in the State of Texas. There is hereby adopted for and by the city a code known as the International Residential Code, 2015 Edition with appendices and amendments thereto.
(B) The following sections of the code referenced under this section are amended as follows: Section M1305, Appliance Access, is amended by adding new section M1305.1.4.1 to read as follows:
M1305.1.4.1 New residential dwellings: All dwellings with a five (5) foot side yard setback requirement shall be prohibited from having outside air conditioning units located within the five (5) foot side yard setback.
(C) Sec. R105.2 Work Exempt from Permit - the following sections are deleted from adoption:
1. One-story detached accessory structures, provided that the floor area does not exceed 200 square feet.
2. Sidewalks and driveways.
(D) Section R313.2 One- and two-family dwellings automatic fire systems is deleted from adoption.
