§ 150.43.4 INTERSECTIONS.
   (A)   It is recommended that no street shall intersect any other street at an angle less than 90 degrees. However, at the discretion of the Planning Board, a street may intersect at less than 90 degrees but more than 75 degrees. Under no circumstances may a street intersect at less than a 75-degree angle.
   (B)   Property sight lines shall be maintained at all intersections of streets. Measured along the centerline, there shall be a clear sight triangle of 75 feet (150 feet for major streets) from a point of intersection. This shall be indicated on all plans. No building or obstruction shall be permitted in this area.
   (C)   Offset intersections are to be avoided unless the Division of Highways grants exception. Intersections which cannot be aligned should be separated by a minimum length of 200 feet between survey center lines.
   (D)   Intersections with arterials, collectors and thoroughfares shall be at least 1,000 feet from center line to center line, or more if required by the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
