A taxicab permit shall constitute a license from the town for the operation of the number of taxicabs set out therein, within the town and subject to the provisions of this chapter, for a period of one year from the date of issuance, unless a shorter period of time is specified in the permit. Applications for renewal shall be made annually. Applications for renewal shall contain all of the information required for original applications pursuant to § 111.04. Approvals of taxicab driver applications are separate from taxicab permits.
