(A) The area described as follows is hereby added to the town's Extraterritorial Jurisdiction area pursuant to the provisions of G.S. § 160D-202, and the ordinance establishing Extraterritorial Jurisdiction Boundaries for the town.
(B) As delineated on the town Extraterritorial Jurisdiction Official Map dated October 15, 2004, and included herein for reference purposes, the new ETJ boundary line begins at the centerline of Highway 24 where the town municipal, and existing ETJ, boundary's lie. The new ETJ boundary line extends northwest from this point to include property fronting on the northeast side of Highway 24 to the intersection of Belgrade Swansboro Road. The new ETJ boundary also extends from the Highway 24 centerline northeast down Leslie Lane to include all lots that are adjacent and that are connected by some means of easement off Leslie Land and Franklin Road. The property adjacent to Seth Thomas Lane on the southeast, at the end of Seth Thomas Lane to the northeast, and the property adjacent to Seth Thomas Lane on the northwest terminating at Swansboro library northwest property line extending two parcels northwest. Also, beginning at the northwest town limit property line along Highway 24 the ETJ boundary line then extends northwest from this point to include proeprty fronting on the southwest side of Highway 24 to one parcel pass the Belgrade Swansboro Road and Highway 24 intersection on the northwest side of Highway 24. The new ETJ boundary line then extends southwest along Queens Creek Road from the Highway 24 centerline and the existing ETJ boundary for all property fronting the northwest side of Queens Creek Road to the property line northwest (across Queens Creek Road) of Ella Lane. The expansion includes the Halls Creek Subdivision, bordering the existing ETJ boundary line along Hammock Beach Road extending to Clam Digger Court and includes all lots with frontage along Clam Digger Court.
(C) The official map of the town entitled "Town of Swansboro Extraterritorial Jurisdiction" and dated October 15, 2004 shall be maintained in the manner provided for in the Office of the Register of Deeds of Onslow County.
(D) All ordinances previously enforceable in the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction area as it existed prior to the enactment of this amendment, and referenced within § 11.01, shall hereafter be enforceable in the area described in division (B) above.
