§ 51.07 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY.
   (A)   The customer must give not less than three days notice at the Town Hall in person, by phone or in writing to discontinue service for a change in occupancy.
   (B)   The outgoing party shall be responsible for all water consumed up to the time of departure.
   (C)   Upon vacancies of owner-occupied structures, the property owner shall be responsible for all unpaid balances. Upon vacancies of rental property, the property owner or agent shall be responsible for all unpaid balances.
   (D)   Upon vacancies of rental property, the account will be placed in the name of the property owner for the duration of the vacancy.
   (E)   If a delinquent customer is the owner of the premises to which services are delivered, payment of the delinquent account will be required before providing services at the request of a new and different occupant of the premises; provided however, that this provision shall not apply if the new and different tenant or occupant of the premises has purchased the premises from the delinquent customer/owner.
