1418.04 FILING OF PLANS.
   After a permit has been issued, the plans, drawings and specifications shall then be returned to the applicant. One copy thereof shall be filed with the Commissioner before commencing the construction and shall remain on file until the completion of the building or structure, when the same will be returned to the owner or his agent, if request is made in writing at the time the copy is filed with the Commissioner of Buildings. If no request is made for the return of the plans and specifications, the Commissioner may destroy them after ninety days from the completion of the work and its approval by the Commissioner. One copy of the plans, drawings and specifications having the stamp of the Commissioner is to be kept on the work until completed.
