A. Codes Adopted: The following codes, published by the International Code Council, Inc., are hereby adopted as the building codes of the village for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said building codes on file in the office of the village are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this section, with the specific revisions otherwise noted in this chapter.
International building code (IBC), 2000 edition
International residential code, 2000 edition
International energy conservation code, 2000 edition
International property maintenance code, 2000 edition
International mechanical code, 2000 edition
International fuel gas code, 2000 edition
International plumbing code, 2000 edition and the Illinois state plumbing code, latest edition, published by the Illinois department of public health
National electrical code, 2002 edition
International fire code, 2000 edition
Life safety code, 2000 edition (NFPA 101)
B. Copies On File: Three (3) copies of the codes adopted in this section are on file in the office of the village clerk for public use and inspection.
C. Penalty: Any person violating any provision of the codes adopted herein shall be punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (2006 Code)
