6-1-6: PARKING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS:
   A.   No Parking Streets: The following are designated no parking areas and no parking signs shall be placed at the appropriate locations:

Dead end at 318 Logan Street
South side of Jones Street from the middle school to Illinois Route 94
 
   B.   Angle Parking On Certain Streets: It shall be unlawful for any person to leave any motor vehicle parked on Broadway Street between Nichols Street and the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway unless said vehicle is parked at the side of the street at an angle of about forty five degrees (45°) to the curb, the right side of the vehicle being nearest the curb.
   C.   Time Limit Parking: It shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle on the following streets for a period exceeding twenty four (24) continuous hours; provided, however, it shall be unlawful for any person engaged in a business in the village to park a vehicle on the following described portions of the streets in the village for a period exceeding five (5) successive hours:
Broadway Street between its intersection with the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad and the intersection of Broadway Street with Dixon Street.
Main Street between its intersection with Division Street and the intersection of Main Street with State Bond Issue Route 94.
Nichols Street and its intersection with Mary Street.
   D.   Parking Farm Vehicles And Vehicles With Excess Length: It shall be unlawful for any motor vehicle with an overall length, including load, exceeding twenty feet (20'), or any farm implement to be parked on the following streets in the village:
The portion of Broadway Street between the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad and the intersection of Broadway Street with Nichols Street.
   E.   Bus Loading And Student Drop Off/Pick Up Zones: The following are bus loading and student drop off/pick up zones in the village:
South Street: The south curb line of South Street in front of the school near the semicircle drive is a bus loading zone. The zone shall run approximately fifty five feet (55') west from the crosswalk and stop ten feet (10') east of the fire hydrant located on the corner of the semicircle drive. The student drop off/pick up zone shall run approximately one hundred forty feet (140') north of the crosswalk to the alley on the south curb line of South Street. (Ord. 2010-1, 3-1-2010)
   F.   Handicapped Parking Spaces:
      1.   The first two (2) available spaces south of the west driveway of Fisher's Food Center at approximately 109 South Broadway on the east side of Broadway Street in the village of Stronghurst is hereby designated as handicapped person parking only.
      2.   The parking space centered in front of the Antiquity at 113 South Broadway and Bygones & Buds at 115 South Broadway on the east side of Broadway Street in the village of Stronghurst is hereby designated as handicapped person parking only.
      3.   The village clerk is requested to notify the superintendent of streets of this designation, and the superintendent of streets shall thereupon place an appropriate sign at such locations, noting that such spaces are parking for a designated handicapped person or persons only. No person not possessing a village or state sticker or license authorizing them to park in handicapped person parking, properly affixed to their vehicle, shall park in such spaces.
      4.   Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provisions of this subsection F shall be subject to punishment by a fine of seventy five dollars ($75.00). (Ord. 2007-0108, 1-8-2007; amd. Ord. 2010-1, 3-1-2010)
