(a) When a public nuisance, as defined in Section 523.01(k)(1), continues to exist without abatement by the owner, representative or agent after a notice to abate has been provided according to the terms of Section 523.07, the Zoning Compliance Officer is hereby authorized to cause the abatement of the public nuisance after a notice to abate has been provided according to the terms of Section 523.07 or 523.10.
(b) All costs incurred in the abatement of a public nuisance shall be assessed in accordance with the provisions of Section 523.09.
