523.07 NOTIFICATION.
   Written notification as required by this chapter shall be served by placing or posting a Notice of Violation, in a conspicuous manner, at the address at which the public nuisance exists. The Notice of Violation shall state the violation and provide the owner, or owner's authorized representative or agent, with the required action for abatement. The Notice of Violation shall also advise the owner or the owner's authorized representative or agent that the owner or owner's authorized representative or agent has seven (7) calendar days from the date of placement or posting of the Notice of Violation to abate the public nuisance. After placing or posting the Notice of Violation, the Zoning Compliance Officer shall serve a copy of the Notice of Violation by placing a copy in regular U.S. mail and certified mail, return receipt requested, addressed to the owner of the property or the owner's authorized representative or agent. After the expiration of the seven (7) calendar days from the date of placement or posting of the Notice of Violation, the Zoning Compliance Officer may pursue any remedy on behalf of the City of Stow as contained in this Code.
