§ 32.01 TOWN CLERK/FINANCE OFFICER.
   The duties of the offices of Clerk and Finance Officer are hereby consolidated and the officer in charge thereof shall be known as the Town Clerk/Finance Officer.

§ 32.02 CHIEF OF POLICE, TAX COLLECTOR, SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC WORKS.
   (A)   Effective 10-4-1971, the duties of the Police Commissioner are transferred to the Chief of Police and all complaints concerning the police and their actions shall be presented to the Chief of Police.
   (B)   Furthermore, the Chief of Police is given authority to suspend any officer at his or her discretion; the suspended officer may petition the Town Manager to be reinstated, if he or she so desires.

§ 32.03 BONDS.
   The Town Manager, before entering upon his or her duties of office, shall give bond in amounts ordered by the Council members with a corporate surety authorized to do business in the state, conditioned that he or she will each serve faithfully and execute the duties of his or her office, and pay according to law all moneys which shall go into his or her hands under virtue of his or her office, and render a just and true account thereof to the Town Council when required by law or by the Town Council.
