There is hereby established a Commission on Aging, consisting of nine members. Permanent nonvoting members shall be the Mayor and the President of Council, and the remaining seven members shall be City residents who are 60 years of age or over. All such members shall be appointed by the Mayor, four of whom shall serve for a term of two years each, and three of whom shall serve for a term of one year. All subsequent appointments to such Commission shall be for a two-year period.
