The members of the Tree Commission being duly appointed by the Mayor of the village, pursuant to §§ 31.01 and 31.02 of this code of ordinances, shall serve without compensation or remuneration but shall be entitled to reimbursement for any and all necessary expenditures in carrying out the functions and duties of the Commission, provided they are authorized by the Village Manager in advance.
