There is hereby established a Tree Commission for the village, which shall consist of seven members, who shall be appointed by the Mayor. The term of each member shall be three years, except the terms of two of the first members appointed shall be for only one year and two of the first members appointed shall be for only two years. Members of the Tree Commission may be removed from office by the Village Commission for cause upon written charges and after public hearing. Vacancies shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor for the unexpired term.
