For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
(a) FIREARMS. Any weapon expelling a projectile(s) by the action of an explosive.
(b) FIRING RANGE. Any area which is established for the purpose of skeet shooting, trap shooting, pistol shooting and/or rifle shooting.
(c) GUN CLUB. A presently existing formal or informal association or organization of persons organized for recreational purposes of skeet shooting, trap shooting, pistol shooting and/or rifle shooting.

(a) Firing ranges shall not be located nearer than 1,500 feet from a dwelling or any other building regularly occupied by persons.
(b) Firing ranges which are now in existence and which do not comply with the foregoing distance limitation shall be relocated to comply herewith or shall cease to be operated within a period of seven months from the effective date of this chapter.
