Every licensed garbage collector or hauler shall collect the garbage, rubbish, and animal waste from residential and business customers at least once each week. Garbage, rubbish, and animal waste loaded in a hauling unit must be in transport to a proper disposal site within 48 hours after pickup, unless the sanitary landfill has been closed for more than 24 consecutive hours.
