The city council shall designate an area to be known as the sanitary landfill which shall be for the deposit of municipal solid waste, construction and demolition debris, asbestos, and other categories of waste materials. The landfill superintendent may designate specific areas within the landfill for special waste, municipal solid waste, construction debris, or other categories of materials. It is unlawful for any person to deposit any type of waste in undesignated areas or in areas not designated for the category of waste material involved.
