§ 2-2-2 APPOINTMENT AND TERMS OF MEMBERS.
   The members of the Recreation Center Advisory Board shall be appointed by the Town Council for a term of three years. Members may serve successive terms upon reappointment by the Town Council.

§ 2-2-3 OFFICERS OF BOARD.
   (A)   Chairperson and Vice Chairperson. Within 30 days after the initial and each appointment, the Recreation Center Advisory Board shall elect a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson.
   (B)   Secretary.
      (1)   The Community Events Director, or any other person designated by the Recreation Center Advisory Board, shall serve as Secretary of the Board, and shall serve the Board in an advisory capacity.
      (2)   The Secretary shall record minutes of meetings and shall circulate the minutes to the Recreation Center Advisory Board and Town Council.

§ 2-2-4 MEETINGS.
   The Recreation Center Advisory Board shall meet at least six times each year upon the call of the Chairperson or the Vice Chairperson, and shall meet at a time and place to be designated by the person calling the meeting. The Board may establish a regular meeting time and place.

§ 2-2-5 REMOVAL OF MEMBERS; FILLING VACANCIES.
   (A)   Removal by Council. The Town Council may, by majority vote, remove any member of the Recreation Center Advisory Board whenever it appears that removal would be in the best interests of the town, as determined by the Town Council, and shall fill the vacancy created by the resignation, death, or removal of any member for the unexpired portion of the member’s term.
   (B)   Recommendations of Board. The Board may make recommendations to the Town Council for removal of members.

§ 2-2-6 DUTIES.
   The Recreation Center Advisory Board shall have the following duties.
   (A)   Activities. The Recreation Center Advisory Board shall provide advice to the Community Events Director as to activities which will best suit the interests of the citizens of the town.
   (B)   Reports and recommendations. When requested by the Town Council, the Board shall consider, investigate, make findings, report, and recommend upon any recreation center question or matter.
