The Town of Simla Marshal or Chief of Police shall have all duties and powers as set forth in the Colorado Statutes. The primary duties of the Chief of Police or Marshal and all other law enforcement officers of the Town shall be the enforcement of the ordinances of the Town, including all traffic ordinances adopted by the Town, and the enforcement of the Colorado Revised Statutes. The Town law enforcement officers shall be furnished with a police manual detailing his or her duties and manner of conduct as prepared by the Chief or Marshal and amended or approved by the Board of Trustees.
