No electrical material, device or equipment designed for attachment to, or installation of, any electrical circuit or system for television antennas shall be installed, used, sold or offered for sale for use in the City unless it is in conformity with the approved methods of construction for safety to life and property, and unless the electrical material, device or equipment conforms with the standards of Underwriters' Laboratories, Incorporated, current as of the time of installation. Three copies of such standards shall be maintained in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
