§ 92.01  NATIONAL FIRE CODES ADOPTED; CONFLICTS.
   (A)   Codes adopted. There is hereby adopted, and incorporated by reference as if set out at length herein, for the purpose of prescribing rules and regulations to improve public safety by providing the control of fire hazards, regulating the installation, use and maintenance of equipment regulating the use of structures, premises and open areas, and providing for the abatement of fire hazards, those certain codes known as the National Fire Codes, Volumes 1 through 16, 1979 Edition, published by the National Fire Protection Association, and the B.O.C.A. Basic Fire Prevention Code, Fifth Edition, 1981, published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators (BOCA) International, Inc.

   (B)   Conflicts. When any provision of this subchapter, or any provision of any code adopted herein by this chapter, is found to conflict with any other ordinance or code of the city, the provision which establishes the higher standard shall prevail.
