A. The board of local improvements shall be empowered to consider and propose special assessments within the village in accord with the requirements of division 2 of article 9 of the municipal code of the state, 65 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/9-2-1 et seq.
B. The board of local improvements shall not receive compensation for its services.
C. The board of local improvements shall not incur indebtedness for engineering, legal or other expenses incurred with performance of its duty without prior authorization of the village president and board of trustees. (Ord. 1994-13, 6-7-1994)
