A curbside recycling program is hereby created in the village. The program shall begin on or after January 1, 1993. The program shall allow for the pick up of recyclable materials by one or more waste haulers. "Recyclable materials" include, but are not limited to, old newspapers, soft drink containers made from high density polyethylene (HDPE), milk jugs made from polyethylene terephthalate (PETE), bimetal food and beverage cans, aluminum, clear glass, brown glass and green glass.
