The Police Chief or the Chief’s designee shall have authority to revoke a neighborhood block party permit if he or she finds that the standards for issuance set forth in this article will not, or probably will not, be met notwithstanding the exercise of reasonable diligence on the part of the Police Department. The Police Chief or the Chief’s designee, on the date of revocation of a permit, shall mail or deliver the permittee a notice in writing of the revocation stating the reasons therefor.
