§ 20-6-83 ALTERNATE PERMIT.
The Police Chief or the Chief’s designee, in denying an application for a neighborhood block party permit, may authorize the neighborhood block party on a date, at a time, or at a location different from that named by the applicant, and if the applicant desires to accept the proposed date, time, and location, they shall notify the Police Department within two days after the notice of the action of the Police Chief or the Chief’s designee. The permit applied for shall conform to the other requirements of this chapter. The alternate dates may arise depending upon the availability of MUTCD approved signs, barricades, and cones used for street closures.
