§ 20-6-82 PERMIT; DECISION AND TIMING ON APPLICATION.
   The Police Chief or the Chief’s designee shall act upon an application within five working days after the filing thereof. Applications must be submitted to the Police Department a minimum of 30 days in advance of the neighborhood block party. If the Police Chief or the Chief’s designee disapproves the application, he or she shall mail one of the applicants within five days after the date upon which the application was filed, a notice of the denial, stating the reason for the denial of the permit. Such notice shall be mailed to an applicant at his or her address given in the application.
