§ 20-6-20 SNOW, ICE, AND MUD; REMOVAL; NUISANCE.
   It shall be unlawful for the occupant of any lot or the owner of any vacant lot within the city to suffer or permit snow, sleet, ice, mud, slush, or other substance to accumulate or remain on the sidewalks contiguous to the lot, or to permit any hardened trodden snow, sleet, ice, mud, slush, or other substance to remain upon such sidewalk. Such sidewalk shall be cleaned and cleared from such substances by 12:00 p.m. the day following the end of any snowfall. Any snow, sleet, ice, mud, slush, or other substance which remains on a sidewalk contrary to the provisions of this section is declared to be a public nuisance.
