1193.01 RS, RD AND RA DISTRICTS.
   In the RS, RD and RA Districts, accessory buildings and uses are limited to:
   (a)   Permanent structures and uses
      (1)   A permanent noncommercial greenhouse that does not exceed in floor area twenty-five percent (25%) of the ground floor area of the main building.
      (2)   A private residential garage used only for the housing of noncommercial passenger automobiles and miscellaneous residential uses, attached by a common wall or within ten (10) feet of the main building, shall be considered as part of the main building and shall be provided with the side and rear yards required for the main building and with a floor area of not to exceed 1,500 square feet.
      (3)   A private residential garage used only for the housing of noncommercial passenger automobiles and miscellaneous residential uses, more than ten (10) feet from the main building shall be considered a detached garage and may be erected within five (5) feet of a rear or side lot line and with a floor area of not to exceed 500 square feet. An additional floor area of 200 square feet may be provided for each 3,000 square feet of lot area by which such lots exceed 6,000 square feet, provided that no detached garage shall exceed 1,500 square feet. Large lots beginning at 33,000 square feet may have an additional floor area of 200 square feet for each 12,000 square feet of lot area by which such lots exceed 21,000 square feet, provided that no detached garage shall exceed 2,500 square feet.
      (4)   In ground swimming pools shall be located in a rear yard and shall not be closer than five (5) feet to a rear or side line.
      (5)   Storage shed in excess of 120 square feet , whether on permanent or temporary foundation, shall be erected with the same regulations as attached or detached garages.
   (b)   Temporary structures and uses
      (1)   Storage shed 120 square feet and smaller without permanent foundation, above ground swimming pool with or without deck, tennis court, garden house, pergola, ornamental gate, barbecue oven, fireplace and similar uses customarily accessory to residential uses may be placed on any part of a rear or side yard and shall not be located in front of a main building.
      (2)   vegetable or flower garden.
