Each hauler shall secure a policy of insurance, insuring against the liability of such hauler in operating his motor equipment and in operations other than those involving automotive exposure in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for personal injury for each accident, and for twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) property damage for each accident. The policy shall be effective for a period of one year to coincide with the effective period of the license granted under this chapter. Copies of all insurance policies, endorsements thereto and receipts or other evidence of payments of premiums shall be deposited by each commercial hauler with the Housing, Planning and Zoning Officer.
