(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
(B) Any person violating any provisions of § 51.02 and/or the contingency emergency action plan shall be, upon conviction, punished by a fine of $50. A second violation by any person of § 51.02 and/or the contingency emergency action plan within a one-year period shall be, upon conviction, punished by a fine of $200.

(C) Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided in § 51.03 shall be guilty of a violation and on conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not exceeding $500 for each violation. Each day in which any violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.

(D) After water services have been shut off by the town for nonpayment pursuant to § 51.15(L), a person, firm, or corporation shall not tamper with, alter, adjust, and/or turn on a water meter or receive and/or accept water from a meter that has been tampered with, altered, adjusted, and/or turned on without authority from the town. Any person, firm, or corporation violating the terms of §§ 51.15 through 51.18 shall be subject to a civil fine and penalty in the amount of $100. Each day a person violates §§ 51.15 through 51.18 and/or each day a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense, subject to a separate fine and penalty. Nothing contained herein shall prevent the town from submitting such violations for criminal prosecution. Nothing contained herein shall prevent the town from seeking all other civil remedies, including compensation for damage to town property.
